After 7 months and a couple of resets I got a new X6 hr, which lasted without problems for 9 months. For about 3 weeks now the pressure readings seem to be going crazy. When I wear it at my wrist the air pressure goes up in a steep line (from e.g. 1022 to 1044 hPa in 3 hours), when I leave it on the desk over night it goes down (to e.g. 1020), next day the same. The official air pressure readings tell me constant 1028 hPa. Also in the mountains the altitude readings seem not to be as accurate as before. So I think the temperature compensation of the pressure sensor might be defective and with the warming up of the watch shows higher and with the cooling down lower pressure readings. Does anyone know this problem? Gerhard

wait for T6 Dear Gerhard! Nice to meet you here on the nicheretail-forum - probably the best place on the net for information around Suunto watches. Did they fully excange your defect X6HR (with chest strap and CD and datasnake) or just the watch alone (2004 model?)? I would wait for the T6 (and I will do that as my X6HR has the same problems) - especially if your main interests lie in training issues. It will have a coded transmitter with a range up to 10 meters (then it has to be coded) and will be somehow upgradable with wireless accessoires (speed and cadence sensor for bikes like the POLAR S720i) - let´s see... (also the threads on the T6 on this forum) Only problem: according to Gabriel from Suuntowatches waiting at least till mid-April. greetings from Salzburg to Salzburg via the U.S. markus

Dear lobi, the first time (April 03), after 3 resets only the watch (serial number: 28.....) was changed for a new 03 model (serial number: 36......) which worked fine till last week. No resets, better contrast and better button-push-feeling for about 9 months. Last week I didn’t get a full exchange but only one for the repair time (a used and repaired 03 model, serial number on the bottom: 99...... , and 23......... in SAM). Lobi, you wrote you had the same problems. Do you mean the resets or the pressure sensor trouble? Did you have your watch exchanged, and if so, how often and have you got a 04 model? Do you know if the 04 series is any better than the old was? Where did you get the information about the T6 from? It sounds very interesting, if there is still an altimeter included, if the price is reasonable and if it is finally as reliable as the former suunto watches were. Grüße Gerhard
