Lightbulb x6 batteries update

April 20th, 2004
Hello x6 forum. I called the Suunto hotline April 8th and explained the problems I was having with my watch. Without any hassle, the operator (Scott) asked me for the serial number (located on the back of the watch) They gave me an RGA number (Return Goods Authorization) and thier mailing address to send the watch to. He explained there would be a 1 to 3 week turn around. I mailed it the same day.
I also sent an email which was responded to about a week later. So either contact meathod will work, it just depends on if you have time to call them (West Coast hours).
Thanks to this forum, I discovered that it was not normal for the watch to need a new battery every other day.
I will post another message once I get my watch back.
-Gary

Just how long did it take to get your watch back?

It took me 8+ weeks for them to send me a replacement. It took them 7 weeks before they even looked at it. Yes the warranty service is really GREAT but it is also very Sloooooow! I have heard that if you buy your watch from REI or other big name outfit, they will just swap it for a new one and you are on your way quick as a wink.
