Question My X6

I got my X6 yesterday, and it looks great. It is about the size of the Observer, they have made the alarm louder (though it could be a little louder still), and works well

I think my main issue with it is the buttons - they are pretty hard to push, though they do work. Was this intended?

I have some questions though:

-the history does not seem to be clearable as it was in previous models (it has no clearing function, and also does not clear when all the logbooks are erased). Is this true?
-What is the maximum the history will count to for cumulative ascent and descent? (The instruction book does not say). It was 40 million feet or meters in Observer. What happens when whatever number it is is reached? Does it get stuck at that number (which would be a bummer since its not clearable) or turn over to zero?

-Though it is clear that 20 hiking logbooks can be stored, it does not say what the maximum length of time each logbook will record before they time out (it says how long for the hiking chrono memory function, but not for the hiking logbook). What is the maximum length of an individual hiking logbook?

-My software seems almost nonfunctional. It does not recognize my watch when I properly connect it to my serial port, has no help/tutorial feature, and appears to be an older version (1.0) that has been since updated. I don't know why I recevied this version. SuuntoUSA is looking into it

Is the display supposed to be slanted at the edges? The numbers and letters are slanted as they get close to the four corners of the display, though they are straight in the center

Thanks!

Brian,

I have some answers from Suunto USA's technical support team that I e-mailed you. They have forwarded the remainder of your questions to Finland for answers. This Wristop just was released and everyone is still learning about it.
