| Standard X-lander now uses stinger buttons? I was considering the standard vs military versions of the X-Lander. I was concerned about the buttons on the standard version being susceptible to leakage when pressed underwater, whereas the military version uses "stinger" type buttons that do not leak. I emailed Suunto, and was surprised by their reply: ---------------- While this used to be true, all versions of the X-Lander and Yachtsman have used 'Stinger' buttons since the beginning of 2007. With Best Regards, Suunto Helpdesk ---------------- Is this really true? What have people's experiences been with the more recent models? |
