| I've been looking for a replacement band since purchasing the X-Lander two years ago. My first preference is a metal band that matches the watch, but the wide, curved pins make this difficult. At this point I'd even settle for a nylon or rubber band, as the leather one irritates the heck out of my skin. Is the elastic strap at http://www.suuntowatches.com/elasticstrap.htm my only option? Thanks in advance for your help. -Norm |

| Size does matters? I assume you are happy with your X-Lander. I have a question for you. Do you honestly find it that big? I have heard it really looks big in an ordinary wrist, and I´ve heard it is also heavy. What can you tell me about it? Do you recomend me to buy a Vector? I assume it is lighter than the X-Lander, even though they are reported as haveing the same size and weight. Looking forward for your advise. | Hi, I'm also looking for a replacement strap for my X-lander since I use it for canoening a lot lately and the leather strap is not very suited for wet conditions. I've read on one of the internet shops that carry Suunto that the neoprene strap for the Suunto D3 (which is a 'light' dive watch, not a real dive computer) will fit the X-lander. Unfortunately no one will confirm this to me and since these straps don't come cheap I would like to know in advance if the strap will fit my X-lander. Thanks in advance for any suggestions on this matter. Regards, Serge. |
