Angry Cheap & Nasty Core quality

Bought a Yellow/ Black Core to replace my aging (but well built) Vector after seeing them on the recent ad campaign. What a shock i recieved when i opened the box to find Suunto have placed huge profit over good build quality. Funny old thing its made in china

The watch face is not even mounted straight, the wording is so small you binos to read them, the flimsy watch strap & buckle looks like its off a £5.99 watch from argos and the bezel is a naff bronze/gold colour & not sporty yellow at all!

All in all very disapointing from a firm that makes a big deal of making so called Finland quality watches.

Save your money - avoid!!

I absolutely agree with your title!!! For a watch starting at $250 you would expect at least "decent" quality and not something that will come apart in your hands when you try to rotate the bezel…I really like all the features those watches offer and I was looking at the Light Black but decided it was not worth the $350 Suunto is asking. I instead purchased an $89 Origo (barometer, altimeter and compass) on sale (that’s how much I’m willing to pay for a Chinese made watch) and it has performed extremely well for the money paid.

How true this is! I have to say for such an expensive watch it is a mass of disappointments from cheap build quality to the worst quality control I have ever seen on any product. I cant even rely on mine for the time anymore as it sporadically dies and needs sending back to Finland, ridiculous!
