Question Thermometer Not Accurate

I purchased Suunto Core about 2 months ago. Overall, I have been generally happy with it. The only glaring problem is that the thermometer is always way off (15-20F). ANyone know how to correct this?

Thanks.

Mick

Temp

How long does it take? I just got my steel Core last night, so I'm far from used to it yet, but my house temp is 68F, and it's been off of my wrist for 30 minutes and still shows 76 degrees. Seems an awfully long time for any thermometer to adjust (and if it's still going down, it's not done yet).

Thanks.

Question Temp calibration?

I just purchased a Core (black w/ yellow) and am so far happy with my new watch except for the temp.

I have not placed it on my wrist yet and have left it on the table in the middle of the room for just over 2 hours now to get the ambient temp. I have four other thermometers to get a baseline of what the core's temp should read. The core runs between 5 and 8 degrees hotter than room temp. Even scanning the temp off of the back of the core is reading spot on room temp.

How can I calibrate the Core's temp?

I just purchased the CORE all black. I have had the adviser for a while. The temp on my CORE when on my wrist is off a few degrees, but when I take it off, within 5 minutes is within 2 degrees of the room temp. Not sure why it's closer than what you guys are saying. The watch was produced this year, and it has the latest firmware/software.
