Weather Indicator?

Just wondering if anyone knows when I'm in alti mode should the indicator arrow be displayed at the top? I know when my watch is in Baro mode it displays but that wouldn't make sense if I was hiking and it doesn't show unless i'm in Baro mode. Can anyone let me know is this is something with the watch? Thanks.
