Weather Indicator?

My core only shows the weather indicator when I'm in Baro mode? I thought I read the manual and it stated that it should show in Alti and Baro modes, also time, It does show in time ony if its in Baro mode. Am I doing something wrong or did I miss read the user guide. Thanks.
