How can I Re-Calibrate Suunto Core compass

I have the Suunto Core five months. Although in the beginning the compass was working properly, recently I realised that there is some declination from the North. Is there any way to re-calibrate the compass?

I just had to change the battery on my core and when I selected the compass mode it prompted me to re-calibrate it automatically. Other than that I am not sure how to do it other than the instruction manual tells you that the watch will prompt you when it is needed. You have try pulling the battery but then you would have to reprogram everything else.

Compass

See my above post.. there is no indication that you have sucessfully re-calibrated other than it starts working correctly..

You CAN force recalibration of the compass but it does involve resetting all other features of the watch.
Hold top left, bottom left, top right and bottom right buttons in together for a few seconds, watch will display SUNNTO and switch off!
Then press the bottom left button, again watch will display SUUNTO and switch back on.
You will then have to go through the setup of all the functions but they should be as they were when you switched off. When you then enter compass mode for the first time it will ask you to hold it level and rotate.
Not ideal I know but the only way I've found of manually recalibrating.
