I have had the same problem, I received my core black orange as a present for Christmas and the problem started day one so that by the end of that day it was noticable and is now so bad one month later I have stopped wearing the watch out of embarrassment. I have contacted Suunto and sent them a heap of photos however that was over five days ago and have had no reply!
Working in an industry that involves being in remote locations I love my watch as it does everything I could want however I'm becoming increasingly frustrated as I have tried everything I can think of to clean the strap.
Will try the Cillit Bang option after I heard from Suunto, soon hopefully.
