| Wheather alarm when climbing Am I right that a wheather alarm while climbing is not possible as it is only possible during barometer mode which you do not use when climbing? What is the use of a wheather alarm then? |

| You are right that the storm alarm should not operate when you are in altimeter mode and climbing (when any pressure change detected is assumed to be due to change in altitude and not atmospheric pressure change). Are you sure you were in altimeter mode? Sounds like you were in barometer mode and your increasing altitude as you climbed was interpreted by the watch as a rapidly decreasing atmospheric pressure which, of course, would trigger the storm alarm. |
