Core Standard Black - White Face

I am considering buying a Core Standard Black. None of the stores around my area carry the watch. Looking at photos online of this watch, the face of the standard black looks unusually white. For those of you with a standard black Core, can you give me some idea what color the face actually is. Someone online has described it as more of a grey color than white. Can a few others chime in on this issue?
