| Switching between alt and baro mode I just bought a new core all black military. It's a great watch, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to switch between baro and alt modes. I'm currently stuck in Baro. I am very familiar with barometric pressure as my background is in aviation however this obviously simple step seems to elude me. |

| I am going by memory here - the instruction book is pretty good on this, but... There are two ways to do this. The short way, which I don't think is discussed in the book, is: when in either Alti or Baro mode, push and hold the button at 8 o'clock until the menu comes up. Use the buttons at 2:00 or 4:00 to select "profile." Push the 3:00 button, then use the 2/4 buttons to select your desired mode (alti, baro, automatic or depth). Push the 3:00 button to select the new mode, then press the 8:00 button a couple of times to exit to the operating display. Alternatively you can get into the menus by pressing the 3:00 button then using the 2/4:00 buttons to start drilling down until you get to "profile" and select the profile (again, alti, baro, auto or depth) and do it that way, but it's a lot more button pushing. |
