Thumbs down Suunto lost a customer...





very disappointed and not really surprised at the same time. I will go to the store today to get re-imburse... dont want another one to have more problems later...

my watch before i bought my suunto:



wore it EVERY day for almost 10 years, never change the battery, and i can see the seconds AND the date at the same time 8/

i was just going to look at the time, and it was like that didnt hit the watch or anything...it was a xmas gift, didnt even last till xmas lol

the store didnt even ask questions, she said she could not re-imburse me because its more then 30 days, but they were willing to exchange or give a credit, i took the credit..we always go to that store for outdoor stuff.

HMmm did you check the battery??

Francois, I am sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience. I have owned several Suuntos and when I have had an issue, Suunto Customer Service really is excellent..

Had you kept the watch, I would have first told you to replace the battery... Sure you shouldn't need to change the battery on a brand new watch, but many retailers turn the watches on for a time while they are in the show cases... You do not know how long it was in the case..

If that didn't fix it, I would have sent it in for Customer Service. Again this shouldn't happen on a brand new watch, but these things SOMETIMES do happen. Suunto really does have excellent customer service and they work hard to protect their brand and keep their customers happy..

Francois, I really do want you to be able to vent and to get it to the people who will hear it. This forum might not be the right place for that.. Suuntowatches.com is a great company, but remember that they are a retail distributor that specializes in Suunto products, and not actually a part of AmerSports Which owns the Suunto Brand..
