mac usage

I don't want to re-open the thread about Suunto does not support Mac. I just bought an Intel Duo Core Mac and I was wondering how to use my Suunto Software on it. I would prefer to use a virtual PC rather than Boot camp and Windows, but Virtual PC does not work on new PC's. Can anyone recommend a PC Emulator that is fairly easy to install??

Also, whoever is incharge could you add me to the list of people who are complaining about this. I am a dealer and didn't evenknow this was an issue...

Emulation Software

You've got two choices:

1. Parallels Desktop (Parallels Desktop for Mac) or
2. VMWare Fusion (VMware Fusion - VMware)

Parallels is the most popular and is a typical "Windows in a windows" app while Fusion is a new approach and runs apps in a windows making it look like you're running pc apps native on the OSX desktop.

Mac usage..

Yeah. I added Parallels and XP to my Mac. Incidentally, I spoke to Kevi at Suunto USA and she told me that they are working on a Mac version of the software. I also got the Topo series for Texas and while you can get the GPS coordinates to the watch, and gett them off the watch. it does not send the data to the watch unless you load the topo into the Windows virtual machine... SIGH oh well...
