Exclamation X9Mi has completly shut off, down, dead, Urgent please help

Hello I am in a hurry an can not explain all the details, but my watch
has completely cut off, when i plug it up to the computer interface it blinks its red color light, but it is not working at all, unlike other problems i have read, when I plug it up to a power source to charge nothing happens, the most action i get from this watch now is when it is plugged to the computer,

the outside temp was around 98-100 f, an I doubt this was a factor

when I was using the gps, I was loading my waypoints an the watch seemed to have frozen so I press the loser left hand button an the watch blanks out.

I do not know what to do, it seems the battery was dead but then i charged it the night before an have only been using the gps for 5 minutes.

as of right now there is a dim red illumination of the watch, as if it is on, it reminds of a timex watch getting wet on the inside an shorting out

but Is need to know is there a combination or buttons to press to turn on
the device?

I have contacting suunto via help desk an still no repsonse, I hope to call them soon, but again I am in an urgent time crunch

please help if anything possible

thank you

promytheus - Sorry, but I can't explain what is happening for sure. However, I have a hunch that your battery may be shot. The X9i and X9M/i batteries are good for about 500 charges and are replaced by Suunto. Try giving them a call as you may see faster response time.

G/L!
