| Prospective X9/X10 buyer Hi all, I am really interested in purchasing the X9 or X10. However, before spending that kind of coin I have some questions that I am hoping you all can answer. 1. Is the GPS mode on all the time? Or is it something you activate or deactivate? This kind of leads to my next question. 2. What is the battery life or how often do you find yourself having to recharge the watch? I am sure the life is shorter using the GPS. 3. Can you use the fitness software, such as the one used by the T6, with this watch? 4. Do you find yourselves wearing it as an everday watch or do you just break it out when you need it? 5. Any major drawbacks to the watch? Thanks everybody, Brett |

1. You can choose the GPS refresh interval: 1 sec, 1 min, or manual. Or off entirely. 2. With GPS off, months. I use the GPS only occasionally, so I couldn't say. X10 is supposedly even better. 3. don't know 4. everyday, it's fine. 5. The GPS on the x9 is not that great; takes a long time to get a fix. The x10 is supposedly much better. |

| I had two x9i's, and the new x10. X10 is much better than x9i GPSwise, and batterywaise. They are not heavy duty designs, but I had no bad experience except for a wristband change last year. You have the software for both the x9 and x10 series that inclede route upload/download and design, and a software that exports tracks onto earth.google. Unfortunately no sports software.. |
