Hello...
I just purchased the
x10 mil and am having some trouble here...
I want to be able to navigate to one single point. I don't want all my points put into a route -- that's stupid. For instance, if I want to go to geocaches, they shouldn't all be in a route where they try to take me from one of them to the next...they are discrete points.
I read the manual. It says to navigate to one point, you have to have the navigation mode set so that it has the open diamond (<>) set...problem is, I cannot set it to that. I can only set it to X, >>, <<, and the closed diamond.
Another annoyance is that when it turns the
GPS off when I go inside, it seems I have to go to Activity and take it off of manual and then also to the positioning menu and turn it on there also. Huge waste of time.
Anyway, sorry for griping...this thing is just about the most needlessly-complicated device I've ever used. I really don't understand why it doesn't work more intuitively and the manual is next to worthless. Oh, and I checked the
x9 compendium also as was suggested to me by someone else...it doesn't address this.
Thanks for any help...just want to be able to tell it to go to one single point and not try to take me to some other random point in the list of MyPoints after that. That is highly irritating.
