Altimeter displays random numbers

Hi,

I just bought a X10.

I can't seem to get the altimeter to work properly. It keeps displaying random altitudes every time it refreshes: 350m, -203m, 125m, 732m, etc.

I tried to set the reference to my present altitude but even the reference gets updated to a random number while I'm trying to set it.

All the rest seems to be working fine (even though I still don't understand everything and the user manual is not that good).

Is the altitude sensor malfunctioning or am I doing something wrong?
