| X9 & altitude sensitivity Here is a quote from the manual for the X9 regarding accuracy of the altimeter which I find strange. "Suunto X9 calculates the altitude from the current barometric pressure, which is more sensitive and accurate than the altitude measurement with the GPS." I would have thought it would have been more accurate using the GPS as there is no fluxuations from barometric pressure. I was looking at the GPS X9 instead of the normal altitude suunto watch because of my want to use it in hang gliding, I guess I was wrong. Any comments? |
