Interference

Something is up with my Suunto T1c HRM. It works perfect at the gym, but can’t seem to find my heart rate when in my living room. This doesn’t make sense at all to me as I would expect an interference to happen with all the machines and equipment at the gym, but not in my simplistic living room. I
