Backlight

The backlight "blinks" on/off (apparently when the compass swings between degrees) when I have the Observer in Compass Mode. Is this normal? The backlight will stay on normally while on all other modes.

This is not a defect. The backlight & compass are the biggest battery drains. It just seams more noticeable on the reverse
LCD display on the Observer than the Vector.
