| Alarm/temp. I should start by stating that my wife bought me this watch for Christmas. I wanted a $30.00 Casio, I got a $300.00 Suunto. (single income family, so I know where the money came from!) I'm keeping the watch ONLY to avoid hurting my wife's feelings. The Temperature reading on my watch is at least 7 deg (f) high with the watch on the table, and completely irrelevant when I have it on my wrist. The alarm is completely inaudible unless I hold the watch against my left ear. In a high dollar watch, you'd think SOMEBODY would sell one with the ability to change the pitch of the alarm. I'm trying to like this watch, but so far the only function that's even slightly useful to me is the altimeter mode, with the ascent in feet per minute. That function, (at least roughly) agrees with the instruments in my glider. |
