Question Water resistance

Can the Ti Observer be used as a dive watch? I spend a lot of time in the water and (especially for the money) prefer a watch I never have to take off.

Most dive watches have a WR of 200m or 660'. The observer has a WR of 100m or 300'. I do not recommend using this watch for anything more than free diving. Incidently, the Altimeter will not measure depth as it is a different sensor that is used in Dive Computers/Wristops.

water "resistant" means that. You can take it under water, but do NOT press any buttons. That's the real difference between water resistant and water proof. On a dive watch that is water proof, you can press buttons for function.

So.... don't try to use the backlight under water!
