Smile Thanks for the Help

Brad and Krak,
Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. I think I phrased my barometer question incorrectly though. I should have asked what kind of accuracy I can expect from my Observer over time? As previosly mentioned I set my barometer according to the automated weather observation system at Phoenix Sky Harbor. I waited until the system reported a reading that was concurrent to the resolution of the watch. (29.95, 30.00, 30.05......etc.) The system reported 29.95 and the watch was set to match. I then left it undisturbed for 3 days and then compared the watch to the airports readings. My watch showed 30.10 while the airport reported 30.23. Is this accuracy within specs?? My thinking tells me that the watch should have reported 30.20. Am I wrong? One other quick question. Does the barometer take readings continuously or does it periodically take readings and then update the display accordingly? I hope that anyone who is using this post as a research tool for buying a Suunto isnt put off. This watch is great and suuntowatches is the place to get your watch. As a matter of fact, if anyone out their is takes a commuter flight out of Phoenix and see's their pilot playing with a "hockey puck" on his wrist its because so far I've managed to get 4 other guys hooked on these nifty things besides myself. Thanks again for all the help.

You may want to call tech support where they can answer an array of questions for you on the phone, I find them much more knowledgable than me on specific details. 800-543-9124
