New t-series

At a suunto online store in Germany they are offering two versions of t-series. They are offering the old version which Suunto has offered up to April 2008 and a new version called t1c or t3c or t4c, started shipment in May 2008.

What is the difference between both versions ? Is it worthwhile to buy the newest generation at higher price ?

Regards Uschi

I'm just curious to know what the "upgrades", if any, are. I have a T6 and I know the battery life sucks. Was that issue addressed? 280 views and no one knows the answer?

I believe the c suffix on the t3c notes the fact that the watch comes with their new Comfort belt. I have the t3, and for a moment thought that the c might indicate that they'd added the coach (t4) feature... but that's not the case.

There are two differences between the T3/4 and the T3C/4C. The new C version:

1. Comes with the Comfort Belt
2. Supports the Cadence Pod for cyclists

Whether it's worth paying more for the C version depends on the price difference and whether or not you want to use the Cadence Pod.
