Opinions of the Comfort belt

I've been using my T6 for years and love it. What I don't love is the Heart Rate transmitter. I only get about a year's use out of one. What happens is the holes that the strap connect into crack and short of gluing the strap to the transmitter it won't stay on my chest. I think I'm on my 4th belt ($$$$!) I'm wondering what people's experience is with the comfort belt. I was about to buy one but I noticed a review where someone said the connectors were fragile and broke easily.

I think it's some kind of marketing strategy. Why make something good, something that will last when you can make something cheap and sell it for big ? How many did you buy ? Think about it...

Actually, all of us have veins in our wrists, why doesn't the watch use them ? Why use a stupid belt when the watch(es) can simply read the pulse from the d@mn wrist ? I think Polar came up with something like it.

I have a T4c and the comfort belt is just that. Been using it for four months and I'm a bit of a clutz and have not damaged the connectors.

Got one

Thanks for the responses. I bought the comfort belt. It definitely is more comfortable and seems to stay put better.
