t6c calculates wrong real time TE

My new Suunto t6c Fusion calculates wrong real time TE.

For example - I train till Im getting TE 2.0 then when I download to training manager TE is much higher 3.0 or 3.1

I'm sure the right value is 3.0 because I feel exercise hard...

Is there someone who knows where is the problem?

Same Problem...

I'm having discrepancies in the EPOC, Calories & TE...

I asked Suunto Support. This is the response:

- Personal background data may be different. Ensure that you always have identical personal data on t6c and in Training Manager.

- Training Manager is able to filter and correct the measured data more effectively than the t6c wrist unit. To improve the data quality, keep the chest strap tight enough and electrode areas wet from the start. Training Manager can correct some gaps in the data and thus gives higher TE than the t6c if data quality is bad.

- Training Manager has the whole exercise data available for analysis. For each point of time, it can take into account also the next heart beats, which is naturally impossible for a real time measurement. The t6c has to calculate the values with less data than is available for the PC analysis.

- Remember that the whole point of these functions is to help you to manage your training during the session and to give you good information to plan the next training sessions in an optimal way. Small differences in the values do not compromise this target.

mvp,

typically the issue of mismatch between the T6c and STrM is caused by not having the personal values set correctly and matching between the T6c and STrM.

Second possible cause is lose HR belt that causes large %error in HR recording - watch can not deal with this while STrM can fill in the gaps and that may cause huge difference.

Check the values in the watch and the STrM and see if they match. If so look at the error rate (you can do that in FB Athlete which is available for 30 days as free trial). It is likely one of those that cause the discrepancy.
