| t6c temperature accuracy problems? Hi there. I'm wondering if people out there can indicate how accurate they think their t6c might be in measuring temperature. When checking it, I started in a room with the thermostat set to 20 C, but my t6c is reading that it is 30 deg C. I waited 10+ minutes in this environment. It was stable at 30 deg C. I went outside where the current temp is near freezing (0C). After short while, the display dropped from 30 down to 25 deg C. I waited a few minutes and came back inside. After a couple of minutes of being inside, the unit is slowly creeping back up... now displaying 27 deg C. I don't see the ability to calibrate the thermometer function, so perhaps my unit is defective? Any feedback would be appreciated, before I attempt to contact technical support. |

| Hi Deedubya, Do you measure the temperature with the watch on your wrist? If it is the case, the measurement is affected by the body temp. You should remove it and wait 15' and check temp. Yep, I agree... why to have a wrist watch if it is not in the wrist. I think it is a general "problem" in all these kind watches (not only the suunto ones). F |
