Sound volume

Hello, I got t3c this summer and I found out that it has very low volume for tones/alarm. I don't care about wake up alarm but tones for intervals and zones have to be easily heard otherwise the watch loses its purpose, IMHO.I live in the city and background noise is quite loud but even when I was in a forrest running on gravel I could not hear the tones every time. I cannot look at the display every 5 seconds to check if another interval has started or I dropped to a lower zone. I see this is a common problem with Suunto, which is too bad because I really like other possibilities. So, my question, did anyone manage to boost this sound somehow or should I just sell the watch? Maybe a local watchmaker could open it and put in a louder buzzer (I understand I would lose any warranty but no point in keeping it in a box, right). Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I have the T4c and have never seen any options for volume beside on/off. As far as the manual read, there isn't even an option in the T6c which is the flag ship model.

Perhaps the iPod + Nike would be the option for you, I've heard it will talk to you while running.

That is true, no options for volume.

No need to be sarcastic, I did not offend anyone, I just think that it is a big oversight to make a heartrate monitor not loud enough to be heard while running... that should have been the primary concern in my opinion and it didn't even cross my mind as possible issue.
Ipod + Nike is completely different, it's like comparing apples and oranges.

I made some inquiries regarding the volume boost and all watchmakers told me it is not possible to do. I guess I'll have to sell it after all and look for something similar from Polar or some other company, hope they don't have the same problem....
