T4C keeps telling me to rest

I got a T4C a week ago. I like it a lot - especially the idea of the Coach feature. I set the AC to 7.0, consistent with my normal level of training.

I was surprised at the amount of rest the Coach keeps advising (3 days out of 5). In my normal routine I found the my actual TE levels were higher than those recommended by the Coach, so when I continued with my normal routine, the T4C bumped me up to AC 7.5 and still suggested 3 rest days with TE2.8 and 3.0 sessions - still less than my normal routine.

Can anyone explain how this works?
Should I back off and follow the coach - will this get me fitter more quickly than my normal routine?

Any thoughts or ideas will be very welcome.

Dave

Details:
This week I've done 5 sessions within training levels 3.0-3.9, one in 4.0-4.9 and one recovery within 2.0-2.9. The Suunto guide says that 3.0-3.9 improves aerobic performance if repeated 2-4 times a week and no special recovery is needed. Yet I was surprised to see how much the T4C tells me to rest. The Coach feature keeps spelling out 3 days of rest with one session at 2.8 and one at 3.0 over the next 5 days. Could the one 4.0-4.9 session have caused me to need three days of rest?

Here's a possible answer to my own question. If you can add a perspective, then please do so:

My Suuno T4C scheduled a lot of rest days - which I mostly ignored. From an original AC setting of 7.0, it eventually suggested (after one week) that I move to 7.5. After another week it suggested I move to 8.0. After a further week it suggested I move to 8.5. I now find that if I follow the coach I need the rest days suggested.

I suspect that my original input of AC 7.0 was too low and the Coach has gradually moved me up to the right level.

Answer - follow your own routine for a few weeks until the Coach function comes in line with your actual fitness level and needs.

Anyone have a different conclusion on this?

Dave

No, I dont think there is a different clue.

I had the same "problem", with a bit more running 70 km/week 2 hard trainings the coach bumped me up to 9.5 .
