Does this Forum actually do anything?

Just noticed that from the last 40 threads more than half of them had no replies whatsoever. That's a very poor participation rate for any forum.

In some of those that did have a response, the reply was so late after the original posting to make it very unlikely that the original person had any interest left in subject.

Suunto - you need to get to grips with your forum.

We'll - a couple of things:

1. This is a suuntowatches.com forum, not officially supported by Suunto
2. We do the best we can, but do rely upon other users to answer questions
3. Overall were pretty happy

Tyler,

I've been looking through the last two years of posts and notice that you do put a lot of effort into helping people with their questions. I appreciate this.

I've also been able to answer some of my own questions by looking through past questions.

Dave

We try, we used to have more bandwidth to support the site, but times are thin and everyone is burning both ends of the candle. I try and jump in when I find questions that are truly unanswerable, but many have been answered or are easy to find out the answer.

Thanks! Let me know if you've got a stumper - and thanks for helping answer others questions, much appriciated.

Tyelr

I should also note - I do spend time every day killing off SPAM, to keep the forum pure - its a big job in of itself. If any one ever wants to help be a moderator, please let me know via PM! Pay's nothing, but the fame is well worth it (sic)

Good day people,
I've just registered on this forum, looking for some answers / directions of my own, as well as to provide as much help as I can for people who need it.
Hope it will be a long stay, and that this forum will grow.
I was also thinking that a little bit of support from Suunto themselves wouldn't hurt, but who knows what will be in the future. We can only hope for the best.
