| In the "set log" menu of the T6c it lets me choose what items will be recorded in the log file: altitude, cadence, EPOC, energy consumption, R-R, speed, temperature. What I don't understand is why would I want to log the EPOC and energy consumption? These items aren't measured directly - they're calculcated based on other measurables (HR, R-R) and user variables (weight, height, activity class, sex, age, max. HR, fitness in METS). Why would I waste logging space on the watch to log calculated items when TM on my PC can calcluate them just as well, if not better? So, in short, my question is: Why does the T6c give an option to save EPOC and kcal to the log and what is the advantage of enabling them? Thanks to anyone with some insight! Cheers, Paul |
