Suunto t6 (normal one, NOT t6c) and Cadence Pod possible?

Hi,
I am a bit confused on the differences of the the t6 vs. the t6c.
Maybe stupid question, can I pair the normal t6 with a cadence pod for my bike to get pedal cadence?
Or is this only possible with the t6c?
