Major differences between T6c and STM

Recently my T6c and the training manager software have been greatly different in their records for the same workout. For instance, last night's run was a 5-miler around an 8 min/mile pace. The T6c showed the following numbers after completion (both the Watch and HR Belt have new batteries):
TE: 3.5 AVG HR: 159 High HR: 169 Low HR: 71 EPOC: 112
This is right about where I thought it should have been and fell in line with my perceived effort.
After uploading the workout to Suunto Training Manager (ver. 2.3.0.15) these are the numbers it showed:
TE: 4.4 AVG HR: 161 High HR: 182 Low HR: 125 EPOC: 170
My previous workout STM had me pegged at a 5.0 for a 7:40/mile 6 mile run. It said I reached 5.0 after 44 min. The last time I hit 5.0 (before the discrepancies started) was a few weeks earlier on a 7:40/mile 10 mile run and I didn't reach 5.0 until 1:08.00.

Parameters on the software and watch are as follows:
STM Watch
Weight: 163 163
Height: 6'0" 6'0"
Gender: M M
Smoker: N -
Act.Class: 7 7
Max HR: 191 192
Mets: 13.5 13.5
EPOC levels are identical on both.

Any suggestions?

Angry I too am seeing BIG differences between software and T6C

I just got a 69% error reading from my memory belt (and T6C watch) when I downloaded and analyzed in FirstBeat ATHLETE software. I ran rather hard this morning (Fartlek).

Interestingly, my watch this morning read a TE of 3.4 and EPOC of 81 (on review from watch after run). The FirstBeat software showed 2.7 TE and 43 EPOC. I also downloaded the watch and belt to Suunto Training Manager, and got a third set of results (TE 3.0 EPOC 52). My watch and both software programs have the same profile info (e.g. METs, Max HR, etc).

BTW...on reviewing the individual data points in the Suunto software, I seem to have all of the data (nothing missing...10 sec intervals for 35min). However the FirstBeat software shows large missing data sections after the first 10 min. The data is very consistent for the first 10 min, then it looks like I lost 90% of the data for the last 25 min.

Why would the data show in one software package but not another? Why would the three devices show different TE / EPOC even though the personal data is the same? What gives???
