Using t6 as motivator: questions

I have a polar HRM that display calories (the axn500). It's also great for my use as a park ranger because it can show,on one screen, 3 items- altitude, rate of ascent/descent, and HR.

One problem: The IR connection to the computer doesn't work that well.

So, I purchased a T6. Has altitude, rate of ascent/descent (and HR,but not on same screen.) So when I'm running uphill with an O2 tank on my back for someone wit a heart attack, I have to switch screens to make sure I don't have one myself- with the adrenaline and pressure to get to the scene ASAP- that's something to be concerned about. Yet I also use the vertical speed to estimate ETA to scene.

So, while the connection with my PC is rock solid, I'm still missing my Polar's display.

A huge problem, however, is when I'm just tooling around on patrol. I find that with my Polar the calorie count was useful- prompted me to do an extra mile, or 500 vertical feet, just to break the 3000Kcal mark, and thus keep me motivated.

Does anybody either know of a watch that has the benefits of the AXN and the T6 (calories, altitude, ascent rate, HR, and solid PC connection) or, if not, how do you know you've reached a certain milestone other than laps, or in my cases trips to the summit and back?

T6 Question

I know this question has gone unanswered, but for very good reason. I do not think any one knew how to answer this. You can check with Suunto directly at 800-543-9124 and talk to their technical support if you are still looking for help.
