How to get back off of T6 to replace battery?

I am following the instrctions to rotate the back of the watch to line up the dot in order to remove the back, but there still doesn't appear to be an easy way to get the back off? Is there a trick to this?

How to back off of T6

Hi there,

If the cover is not popping out, use your fingernail or a thin tool (not a knife) and insert it in between the space where the cover and the watch casing meet. With a bit of pressure, pop the cover off. This should not damage your watch, just be sure to replace the o-ring around the cover. Hope this helps!

Janice

Thanks Janice - I was unable to get anything thin enough under the edge of the back to pop it off... however I did come up with a way that worked...

Get some scotch double-sided foam tape (like at Home depot or lowes) and cut out a circle of it roughly the size of the watch back. Make sure you clean off the watch back first with a little rubbing alcohol before applying the foam tape to the watch back as any oils can reduce the adhesion). Apply the foam tape to the watch back cover and then find something flat that the tape will adhere to (i used a metal ruler) and press that against the other side of the foam tape - now using some pressure it was easy to leverage the ruler a little and "pop" the back off the watch - and the foam tape was easy to remove afterwards from the watch back.

thanks, Mike

Stuck Battery Cover

No Way would my back of my T6 come off. I finally just removed the 4 screws holding the back on and had to press it through. No way a fingernail, double side tape, etc would have gotten it off.
