Cool T6 is doing weird things

I taught spin today and I was monitoring my heart rate while I was teaching so the class had a target. At one point, I was at 172bpm. Overall, I had a high performing class and my average was 168bpm. I donloaded the file and I showed a high of 140 and level 1 and level 2 with a 1.5 hour workout.

This is the second time consecutively.

Amy ideas?

Hi there,

Were you able to fix the problem with your T6?

Angry me too!!

First it was HR strap (I think) problems and now while still using the old original HRM strap I'm getting inconsistent readings. Yesterday during a threshold tempo workout it consistently read my HR as 55 bpm... this while I was probably around 160 to 165.

any help out there?

Uh, thanks for nothing.

Got a new strap, figured out how to "pair" it (which involves a sequence of removing/installing the battery in the strap AFTER you tell the watch to pair...nuts) and now it works flawlessly. The new strap is a lot better at creating a contact on your chest and it hasn't missed a beat.

Thanks for all the useful replies though (insert sarcasm). not.

had the same thing yesterday, monitor showing highs of 180 bpm but when downloaded it showed a steady rise for about 20minutes and then a flat line of160 bpm for the next 15 minutes or so.running again tomorrow hope it was a one off glitch.
