T6 - Foot Pod - Problems after transition area

I've got a question regarding the transiation area and using the t6

By pressing the connect button after the swimming part (and taking the lap time) and going for the run my foot pod t6 is able to connect (by pressing the connect) button to the footpod, but doesn't show the distance on the display. It just show the speed?
any idea on this???
